Just got word that Falcons kicker Morten Andersen is in line for another NFC Special Teams Player of the Week Award.
Details to come...
Andersen is 16-of-19 on field goals this season and his two kicks last week at Carolina put the Falcons in a position to win the game, which they did.
He also eclipsed the 2,500-career point mark last week.
This is the ninth time the Great Dane has been given the award in his 25-year career (insert age joke here).
Of course, according to Danish television, Andersen has been involved in many great moments over his lifetime.
The math on Andersen's career is equally amazing...
He's played in 375 career games. Excluding overtime, that's 22,500 game hours or more than 937 days spent on the football field.
