I mean he insulted the guy right to his face.. Really bad.. Chad had to bite his lip.. Chad is having fun talking about the victory and Skip said that he was jealous of Cedric Benson for not letting him take a victory lap.. And kept on and on and on baiting him.. it was weak Ive lost all respect for Skip now.. It was far worse than Jim Rome calling Jim Everette Chrissy Everette.. It was classless. He's lucky Chad didnt lose it and snap his skinny neck..

People like Bayless and Rome should be gone from TV, period. Or the athletes should be allowed to manhandle them without reproach.

Jim Rome gets a bit of a bad rap for the Jim Everett thing. Plus, it was 15 years ago. Ancient history. The truth is that Jim Everett knew that Jim Rome was going to call him Chris Everett before the filming started and didn't give any indication to the production crew that he was going to have a problem with it. Then when the filming started, Everett went all postal worker. Why did he wait til the camera was running if he wanted to confront Rome about it.

The funny thing is - Skip Bayless now is what Jim Rome was 15 years ago, a guy just looking to start some sh*t. The difference is that Jim Rome was a young guy trying to make a name for himself, and Skip is just a d*ck.

I like Jim Rome.. Ive always given Skip benefit of the doubt, until today.. That was tasteless, and Chad was trying real hard to be a nice guy and Skip kept needling him and prodding and poking him with his verbal insults..

Yeah Rome is an *******, but the Everett thing still makes me laugh every time i watch it.
