What about having the champion from the UFL take on the worst team in the NFL in a given season, the winning team gets to play in the NFL for the next season? I know there's a system like this in Europe for soccer where teams can move up to higher level leagues if they play well. If the UFL ends up being successful this might be an idea, not a great one but an idea. It would be funny to see the Lions or Bucs fight for their right to play in the NFL.
