I've been reading the topics in here lately and I've been reading that some of you guys expect to get a third or even a second rounder for Chris Houston next offseason... just wondering why you guys think any team would give up their second or third rounder for Chris Houston. Houston has been getting **** on by all of the receivers in the league and even if he's primarily a man coverage CB, trades in the NFL are done on a what have you done for me lately policy. Second rounders are traded away for players like Tony Gonzalez... not for players like Houston. If we trade Houston, it will be for a fifth rounder or somewhere around there IMO.

LOL... i have no idea why ppl think we can get a 3rd or 2nd round pick for Chris Houston..... I mean the Patriots got a 5th round pick for Ellis Hobbs so why would a team give a 3rd for Chris Houston.

The only way we could get vaule for Chris Houston is if we trade him and a 3rd round pick for a Antonio Cromartie (Chris Houston would play NB)... I'm not saying that would happen but it would have to be one of those type trades.... Chris Houston is not a bum but his trade value is not high.

At best a late 5th or sixth. Houston might be good enough to swap a late third and him for an early third.
We gave what a 6th rounder for Foxworth who we all know is a better CB then Houston.

a 2nd or 3rd straight up, heck no.

but a draft day trade packaging Houston with a 3rd rounder could very well get us back into the 2nd round.

Houston has the stats and athleticism that would provoke a team to pull that trade with the clock running down on draft day.

Stats? They must not keep track of how many times he gets burned in every game then.

Agreed, no way will we sniff a 2nd or 3rd rounder for Houston. Getting a 5th would be enough for me to pull the trigger to be honest.
