Had to wait till I got home from work today so this post is late. Good game guys and congrats on the win.
I think your team got a lot more than they thought they were going to from the Falcons and they still pulled out the win.
I'm never satisfied with a loss but before this game no one wanted to give us a chance in **** and we proved we deserved more respect than we were getting.
Saints fans keep saying the Saints are the better team and maybe so, but I don't think the difference between them and the Falcons is near as big as some thought after last night.
All that being said, the only real problem I have right now in reading this board and some of the other places I've visited is some you guys complaining about officiating! I wasn't going to even bring it up even though I thought we got jobbed at the end of the first half.
"Roddy white pushed off." ( maybe) "Decoud made helmet to helmet contact on Brees" ( nope, clean play and a spectacular one too) etc. etc .
Well, the interception just before the half should have been called back because White was interfered with. Basically a free touchdown for you guys. I didn't even see it at first until they showed the replay and the announcers pointed it out. White was downright being held.
Anyway as I said congrats, but let's not get into an argument about the refs because both sides probably have a point or two.

appreciate the congrats, but if you read in here there has been maybe one Saints fan complaining about the officiating being one sided. The officiating was pretty awful all around

I didn't mean just here, I've been reading about the game in several places and seeing comments.
TATF, ESPN etc. I thought that's what I wrote but maybe it came out wrong.
Just a great game and both teams gave a good account of themselves. A far cry from the days of old when no one but us cared about our rivalry.
I hate to be on the losing end but I was proud of how well the NFC South was represented last night.

NO MATTER HOW A GAME TURNS OUT ... YOU NEVER HEAR ME COMPLAIN ABOUT THE REF'S.
BECAUSE .... IF YOU PLAY HARD ENOUGH, CONCENTRATE LONG ENOUGH .. YOU CAN BEAT THEM TOO!

yes but after you 'accidentally' run one of them over for the third time in one game they start to get suspicious

Me too. I almost had a heart attack on several different occasions. Not to mention I chewed all my nails off. But, it was so much fun. I love these rival games.

Believe it or not, this was the game I was most comfortable with, for some reason I wasn't nervous at all? I guess because everyone expected us to lose anyways? That will be different i guess when we're expected to win?
