I have been checking out what every expert has been saying about the falcons. Most have us ranked midway in the pack and personally I think it's bull. No one thought we would win the game versus the Saints to begin with. New Orleans is having a great year and look better than any team in history point blank. I think our team did a great job on the road. I felt good about Mike Smith taking the helm when he came in and cleaned house of the leaders that didn't show up when the whole Vick problem arose. I honestly thought it was about time someone makes a big change. I didn't agree with the Matt Ryan pick cause I felt like strengthening our D was a must with us losing as many Defensive tackles as we did and felt like Dorsey would have been a great addition and we could get Flacco in a later round.

That behind I still had faith in the decision making going on and I have since been impressed with Ryan. Most people look at the stats and say he's falling but the 2 picks he had last night were tough to begin with cause they were good passes it's just that Vilma was playing great ball. The third pick is bull cause it was a last chance deep effort to see if possibly we could get it to go our way and stun the experts. Point blank that last interception shouldn't even be looked at. Two years into the rebuilding process and we still look way ahead of schedule. Hats off to our guys and coaches cause they our making Atlanta a proud football team once again.

Mike Smith's interview last night after the game was dead on and I think he has the best class of any coach around. When he said we will be judged on 16 games not one or three I felt very happy to have someone of his caliber representing us. Last night's game proved one thing right. Any given Sunday. Falcons had a shot on the road against quite possibly the next super bowl champions and they did a great job against a team that was supposed to blow us out of the water. I think the next time we see them that it will be even tougher for them to hold on cause this team learns quick from their mistakes and are full of fire. We don't have the best CB's in the game period but they did much better than I felt they would against Brees and company.

Hats off to Grimes who made that incredible interception. I look forward to our next games and this team will be in the playoffs regardless of what any of the experts say cause Miami proved it against the jets and last night it showed again that stats don't prove anything.
