what the heck is up with that, and the Redskins D is pretty good, meaning Campbell is getting plenty of opps to make things happen
also... Campbell is the 4th most sacked QB in the league, with 20 sacks, if we dont get pressure this week from the front 4, something is seriously wrong,

It might have been better to start the title with "Why" since obviously people flew off the handle assuming a troll post. I think I remember you as FreezeFirst years ago. Anyway I believe this is due to a decline in his completion percentage over the last 3 weeks. Campbell fumbles and or intercepts 2.43 times a game whereas Ryan is 1.51 which obviously was due to INT's the last few games. Ryan averages 1.71 TD's a game to Campbell's 1.14.

I still say it is too early for stats when one stellar game can move a player's ranking 10 spots or more. A couple of games ago Ryan was in the top 5 or 10 in a lot of categories now he is somewhere in the middle on some. Before last week Turner was in the middle of the pack and now after one game he is somewhere at the top.

Yea, me and Shiney McShine used to do off-season "Hey its Friday might as well do Simpson quotes"(like 6 years ago) back in the day, when things were slow
funny, we never got any TATF, or any flack, it was just fun offseason stuff... speaking of which...WHATEVER HAPPENED TO SHINEY???I lost my post totals TWICE in the transfer of the boards and got banned 2 weeks ago for getting a troll off the boards, (I was Ice74) it was the guy who kept putting all the Katrina photos up and making fun of them

This is a great idea. Give the vick trolls additional fodder. Thanks.

Big Ben had a worse qb rating than Ryan last year and he won it all.

Funny how some of you people defend this Ryan character an say stats an ratings dont matter, but now when its Vick, yall gotta a whole lot to say an Vick is 10 times better than Ryan and has gotten us further than Ryan has including winning in the playoffs an winning his first playoff game,UNLIKE RYAN. BEING A 3 TIME PRO BOWLER, UNLIKE RYAN. NOW YALL WANNA ADMITT STATS DONT MATTER. HMMM I KNEW THERE WAS A DOUBLE STANDARD THROUGH OUT OUR FAN BASE. ITS SO OBVIOUS, BUT YALL WANNA CROWN RYAN LIKE HE'S GOD, WHEN TRUTH IS HE BLOWS, THIS SEASON. IM not a fan of just one player like some ,but im a fan of the Falcons team. Ryan is overhyped and thats just the truth. But if you wanna crown him, CROWN HIS A*S but im not. How many interceptions has this kid thrown this season?

Why do you care what other people think?

Funny how when people compare Ryan's stats with Brees and Manning, everybody jumps on board and cries out Ryan is the next HOF QB. But when Ryan has similar stats to Jason Campbell, or worse in this case, people are just like 'stats don't matter.' Another double standard...

Really, break down the formula for the QB rating and discuss the similarities. Outside of copy/pasting the formula I bet you can't comprehend it.

David Carr 97.8 has a better QB rating than
romo 96.8
Palmer 89.2
Philip Rivers 95.5

At this rate Carr will be a HOFer before Brady...

The point is, when stats show Ryan as a good QB, everybody screams out 'Ryan is our own Brady!' But when stats don't show Ryan doing well, the same people whine, 'oh stats don't matter.'

The Falcons have never had a losing record at any point since Ryan has been QB. Ever. Not even by a half game.

There's a stat for you. No charge.

You can't say anything negative on here about Ryan, everyone is over protecive.

TD/INT ratio matters, Ryan is lacking signifigantly in that one....ooppps, I said something negative

A true Falcons fan isn't going to go around and throw a hissy fit about a player based on 2 games because in the Falcons lost when he's played relatively well in the 15+ games that he won, particularly as one of the youngest QBs in the league. Every great players have a few bag games. Hall of Fame are full of players that made mistakes and played poorly in a few games. The fact people like you bring up the fact Ryan had too many interceptions in the past 3 week isn't going to do a hill of beans. Ryan knows it, coaches know it...but they also know mistakes are part of the learning and maturation process. Geeezzz, you act like a QB is suppose to come into the league lights out perfect and anything less is unacceptable. The Saints had more turnover than the Falcons, do you see their fan base crying about Brees and the inept offense????

I think I speak for most "mature" football fans that can put things in perspective. What people are responding to is the immaturity and lack of common sense in they way some posters whine excessively about a couple of interceptions thrown a fumble and how that somehow makes the team or the player completely worthless.

Vick Vick Vick. That is all I see in your posts. If you want to support such a player that throws his career in the gutter, then go to the Eagles boards. I'm sure they would love you
Stop living in the past junior. Matt is the future, get over it.
