The only way I could enjoy New Years Eve when the Falcons were 2-14 was if we beat the Saints twice! At least I could raise my glass of champagne for a good reason!

you shouldnt judge a fan base by a handful of d-bags. you think there arent some jerk falcon fans that made the trip on monday night and dont even get me started on all the smack falcon fan ran when you made the run for the superbowl or the fact that every other post for the last week has been some comment about katrina or welfare. it happens.

First off...I have NEVER made a Katrina reference and never would. Second, I have been in sports bars with Saints fans screaming in my ears through the whole game. I understand rivalry and BELIEVE me I have VERY thick skin. But, when asking the Saints fan to answer a question about football and he looks at me like he was just born, I have to say there are idiot fans. I understand y'all wanna **** talk. That's fine. But, have some class. I am not necessarily referring to the ENTIRE fan base. But, I have YET to meet an intelligent Saints fan. I understand it goes both ways. But come on. Take your W's and move on! Noone needs to have it bashed into their faces over and over again. I won't do it to you when we school your a** in the GA Dome! I don't need to go around bragging! I am just one h*** of a proud Falcon fan!

My original point was that Saints fans just can't seem to give it up when trolling TATF, and if the follow-up posts here aren't proof of that, I just don't know what is. There's some deep-seated insecurity at work here.

In reality, I know several people from that area who are not Saints fans and they are decent, productive members of society. As nice as any you would ever want to meet. It was just in the Tuesday edition of the local paper in NOLA that the recovery czar quit in disgust, said the residents of NOLA expect everything to be handed to them, and that sooner or later the perfect storm of a Hurricane will destroy the whole city.

I agree with most of you statement except for the bolded part. I have been to over 20 msg boards from other teams and no matter who they are the fans go crazy against their team after the loss. Even the Patriots fans were getting on Brady earlier this year... it is to be expected from any team fan base not just the Falcons.
