...we were 4-3 at this time last season. Stop with all the doom theories. Matt Ryan is having a couple bad games, but all QB's do. He will be fine. Also were have been very unlucky with injuries this year, which doesn't help.

So everyone please chill...we will be fine this season, next season, and the season after that.

Exactly. The sky was falling around here after we lost to the Eagles last season.

The Redskins have rebound game written all over them. Very similar to the 49ers, good D but dreadful offense. I expect at least three turnovers for the defense leading to short fields and points for the Falcons.

I think the worst part of our schedule is behind us. We played DAL,NE,and NO on the road. Those are tough games. The brutal schedule doesn't seem so brutal anymore. We can do this.

I liked Steve Young's analysis of Matt after the game. He said every young QB will struggle in the redzone early. I dont know his passing numbers inside the 20 this year and last but that seems right on. Yeah I hated losing to the Saints but 4-3 after the teams that we have played is alright by me. If this team comes out and plays with as much heart as they did Monday night for the rest of the season we will make the playoffs.

I am calling for a Saints loss this weekend as the Panthers are going to pass 10 times and beat the tar out of them with their two very good RB's

Our schedule gets much easier the rest of the way. We should sweep Carolina and Tampa Bay. We should beat Buffalo, Washington and the Jets. That gives us 10 wins right there which will get us in the playoffs in my opinion.

All we have to do at that point is steal one from Philly, Giants and Saints and we are back to 11-5. We get Philly and Saints at home and the Giants have been exposed as a fraud as of late. We should be able to win 1 of those three minimum.

We are going to be fine.

Yup. If we just win the games were are supposed to win, we can make the playoffs.

Well, we all know that before the season started, our schedule was rated 4th hardest (personally, since these ratings did not take into account us playing our toughest teams on the road and 4 of these teams coming off of their byes, I think we should have been #1). But during the game, they showed the second half of the season schedules and said we had the 7th easiest 2nd half schedule.

Now, think about this - if we had the 4th hardest overall schedule and the 7th easiest 2nd half schedule, just how tough was our 1st half schedule?

Also, just to put things in the perspective that Smitty likes to use...he breaks the season up in quarters, each consisting of 4 games. We went 3-1 the first quarter. If we win this Sunday (and we should win) we will have gone 2-2 the second quarter. I see no way we'll go 2-2 any other remaining quarter. This means we should, at worse, go 3-1 and 3-1. That's a 11-5 record right there. I can live with this. ;)

In short, we're through the "storm" and now we are approaching our easiest part of the schedule. It's time to make up some ground.

Yep **** it's one game at a time, though this team is still trying to find itself offensively,Ryan isn't playing that well but there is also no reason to think he can't turn it around especially if Turner continues to run like he did in New Orleans. Defensively you got to feel about as good as you can about this team, yes there are limitations based on who we got playing at CB etc but they played pretty **** good against the top rated offense at their place.

#1 priority get that win this week... without any injuries...

Yup, we are through the 'storm'. And I have never felt so good after a loss. We were a few mistakes away from beating arguably the best team in the NFL. Just think of what we can do to the rest of the league? The most important thing now is to win the games we are 'supposed' to win. (That is just the bare minimum..I have alot of faith in this team and beleive we can come out with a win against the Giants and Saints.)

Well, the Giants will be up in NJ and after a bye, so that one might be tough. But we will destroy NO here in the ATL. I have no doubts about that.

Furthermore, I can't see a team left on our schedule who can hang with us in the GADome. It looks like we'll get that 8-0 home record we should have had last year.

We are just about through the run of playing teams coming off bye weeks, and the Skins are definitely beatable. I'm looking forward to the second half of the season.

Good topic.
