Also, he has the 2nd highest yards per catch(behind Andre Johnson) and is tied with Reggie Wayne for most TDs of anyone on the list.

This is pretty remarkable considering his slow start. Also, I thought Gonzo was reducing the amount of balls thrown Roddy's way. But I think what has actually happened is Gonzo has taken carries away from our RBs. We're passing more and running less.

yea but we should have traded him during TC and started jenkins because he's not a top 10 wideout. with jenkins as our #1 we wouldn't have experienced any dropoff. :rolleyes:

Roddy is still getting plenty of chances, it's everybody else that needs to step up. Right now the Falcons have a 2 weapon passing game, Roddy and Tony. That's not enough.

very true.. we need someone to step up and be a reliable 3rd weapon.... i think matt is still adjusting and hopefully the chemistry improves with another receiver... (man that HD injury suks!!)

I have said this for a while and week after week I hear the announcers say "He needs to stop targeting Gonzo so much". The hot receiver will vary somewhat from week to week but at least it is more than one WR/TE otherwise the passing game would be completely shut down.

I believe this week the passing game will not be that great but the running game will take another step forward. No matter the game Roddy still seems to find the endzone.
