I was thinking about how far back i could remember watching Falcons football and some of the players i grew up watching. So i did a search to see where the one and only Chris Miller is up to these days and i found out he is the QB coach for Arizona.. Just thought it was kind of cool and wanted to share..Here is his bio.

Thanks - Also, FYI coach Wisenhunt, head coach of the Cards was also a Falcon.

Man, that kid had a rifle arm. It's a shame he had to play with that coaching staff. He could have been great in a real offense.

That's cool. I remeber the days of Alfre Jenkins and Bart. I'd have to say one of my
favorite players was 'ol number 31, William Andrews. I use to enjoy going to the AFCS
and watching my dad get blitzed by the fourth quarter from drinking Irish coffee from
his thermos!

Talk about real old school! Harmon Wages

Harmon Wages -- A former star Falcon, a highly paid TV sportscaster and a bona fide local celebrity, Wages apparently was still so insecure that he needed mucha coca to impress women. Busted by the feds in 1984, he still pops up on air from time to time.

I remember grabbing Atlanta every time for a Strat-o-matic football league, although
Bartkowski didn't get a lot of respect for his play.

Chris Miller one of the reasons the birds traded young Bret Favour, thats what Berman called him when the birds drafted him so it stuck with me.

Ahhh the days of Bart, Jenkins, Action Jackson, Bubba Bean(oldie but goodie). I did not get to go to many games at AFCS but when I did it was the best thing in the world. Man the defense back then was vicious. Kuykendall and Humphrey were my faves.

Who very well may have been the best tackler this team's ever had. He grew up playing rugby, so that shouldn't come as no surprise. But it always tickled me when a returner would have "just the kicker to beat" and then Luckhurst would lay him out. :P

EDIT: And in that picture, I think that's good ole' Archer (current radio color analyst) who's holding.

I remember when I meet William Andrews, Lynn Cain, and Junior Miller at the Old Atlanta Fulton Conty stadium. I was one happy kid!

What love for Tim Mazzetti? I remember him for a very good reason, arrived back in

1978 from a overseas deployment, oct 31 1978 in the A.m. and flew to Atlanta to watch

him live (Monday night), (still have the ticket stubs somewhere), kick 5 straight FGS to

propel the Birds to their 1st ever playoff appearance. FYI, they beat the Eagles,

thanks again in large part to Mr. Mazzetti :P

William Andrews was my favorite player until Tuggle. I was at the game when Andrews tore up his knee.

I was at the game and remember O.J.'s last run against us. 10 yard gain over right tackle. I was pretty young and my Dad laughed and said "O.J. couldn't pick up two yards on any team except the Falcon's".

I also remember Namath's last game against us. But just barely.

My dad gave up his season tickets when they started making everyone pay for preseason games. I was young but I remember being bummed out. We still went to a lot of games, but I remember we had great seats and I loved going.

I definitely remember it, used to hear it all the time at the Nothlake mall. And the shopping centers in Covington, Ga

I think it was the 1980 or 1981 season
