Before the Falcons existed in the '60's the only NFL team that southern fans had was the Redskins. This established a strong following that still exists today.........TWO generations later.
This Sunday, the Dome will be "overun" with Redskin fans, probably 15 to 18,000 strong.........and noisy.

Another home game where you look around and wonder who the home team actually is.

18,000 people going home angry and defeated.

Sounds great.

there will be 18000 fans holding signs disapproving their owner, GM and Zorn. Because they're not allowed to in their own stadium

Yea, their crowds have not been impressive as the season has gone on @ FedEx and trust me...that's out of the ordinary for them.

Just remember the last time we saw Pittsburg. I got hit in the face (accidentally) by at least two towels. It was all worth it once I got to watch them all slink out with their tails between their legs.

My guess is you will see more Eagle invaders than Redskins. We shall see.

Opposing fans with Georgia driver's licenses. Aren't we used to that by now?

Two words: Transient City.

I think you're wrong on this one. Our fans will show up and get funky with it, along with our Dirty Birds. B)

I can't tell you the last time I saw the Redskins take over the Dome to be honest not to mention there were plenty of teams before the Falcons besides the Deadskins.

With the type of season the Redskins are having, along with discontent among the fanbase about thier ownership, GM,coaching etc. I really doubt there is any danger of them 'taking over the dome'. More than likely they will be cheering for our Falcons by the 2nd half.
