Game

some things I saw watching that that again...

1)Our Offense misses Norwood and HD, they add big plays to our offense.

2)Jenkins does not attack the football.

3)Keith Brooking is a pile of garbage, and im glad he is gone, regardless of what he does or doesnt do in Dallas. I think we should have addressed the position in the draft, not with Peterson, but im just glad he is gone.

4)I forgot Roddy dropped that wide open deep backside post...wow that hurt.

5)Matt puts too much air under his deep passes. Compensation for pure arm strength probably. He will probably find a way to make it work for him.

6)Coy Wire's side was run at A LOT...and the Cards were routinely winning. Wire is OK at the POA, but actually doesnt have that much range surprisingly(considering he came into the league as a safety).

I agree with most of that (especially 3, but I'd rather not go into it b/c we know how folks get on here about him).

With Matt and the air under the ball, I kind of think that might be more Musgrave. The same thing happened when he came in to coach Vick. I think he just believes that it's better to put air under it and give your receiver a chance instead of taking the chance of overshooting him.

Matt was throwing lasers all day. He and the receivers were pretty good(minus that drop Roddy had). Turner couldn't get anything going but Norwood was productive.

Norwood had limited touches that day, but was making some big yardage when he was getting it.

maybe it's just me but in every game ive watched this season and that game, the defense did OK in the first half but gets lit up in the second half. i wonder if it's just bvg being a bland, repetitive playcaller or if our defense just isn't conditioned well enough.

that was tough to watch. we had soooooo many opportunities in that game but we let them get away. we got the ball back twice late in the game, but threw an INT and took a safety. when we finally DID put something together our ******* D couldn't get off the field.

why don't we throw more quick screens to roddy? especially when the d plays off of him. that video shows that we should more.

that video gives me more respect for foxworth. i don't think they even threw to his side other than the two passes in the flats. all of the passes were to houston's side or down the middle.
